Izumi Japanese Buffet

Wow. First time. Food was fresh. This is more of a sushi buffet then anything else. They have other food on the buffet, but mainly sushi. For 20, this is a deal breaker. Cant beat that kind of quality for 20. Definatly will be coming back

Didn’t even know this place was here. The prices are beyond reasonable for the amount of food they offer for the buffet. It’s perfect for kids and adults. I don’t like sushi but the amount of sushi they have is crazy. They have plenty of other items too if you don’t like fish. Can’t wait to go back!

Nice restaurant with great selection of sushi. This place can get pretty busy during peak time but they still manage to keep the rolls coming out. They also have hibachi grill if you want that as well as an assortment of Chinese type foods (sweet and sour chicken, general Tsous etc). Price is good and the workers are very polite and do a great job at refilling drinks and taking empty plates. This is our Sunday tradition. Highly recommend.

If you visit Evans, GA and you have never tried sushi before, this is it. We would definitely drive here just to visit this place again! It’s very delicious and worth it. I’m very surprised with the quality of the sushi in this buffet unlike any other sushi buffet I have tried before. Buffet sushi typically leaves a dry taste in my mouth or the flavor doesn’t blend, however every sushi I ate in here melts into my mouth. The price is very reasonable and probably the cheapest I have ever seen so far when it comes to sushi buffet. They have all the different types of sushi you can try. My husband’s very picky when it comes to sushi and I was very surprised when he actually enjoyed eating different kinds of sushi. I must say, this buffet is different from any sushi buffet. The sushi is already made for you to be picked, since most sushi buffet typically you order and you get charged for any leftovers. When we got in the restaurant it was very busy, however we got seated right away. Besides sushi, they also have hibachi and other asian cuisine such as fried rice etc. The service is great and the place is very clean. Will definitely come back to this place again when we get a chance to visit Evans!

We've gone a few times now and the food has been really good every time! It's always fresh and an excellent selection to choose from! The variety provides something for everyone. There are so many sushi options, there is a hibachi bar as well which is awesome. There is an entire bar with so many different hot dish options... different kinds of chicken (sesame chicken, chicken katsu, etc..), vegetables, seafood (mussels, oysters, crawfish), fries, soups, desserts... highly recommend!

Izumi is a delicious seafood buffet with various delicacies that will bring explosions of flavor into your life. I had a wonderful experience here. To any Izumi-goers that have not been here before- let me give you a piece of advice. Make sure that, when taking food from the grill side of the buffet, you put the food on top of the counter to ensure that the staff member stationed there will cook your wild dish to perfection. I sat down and began to dig into my monstrous creation and quickly discovered that everything was cold. I figured they forgot to turn a warmer on. Oh, how wrong I was! I quickly realized that I was supposed to ask the employee to cook it for me. In my embarrassment and shame, I ate the food completely cold. I had already passed everyone with my dish and ate a solid portion of it; there was no turning back. Do not do what I did. Think with your brain and not your stomach. Anyhow, it was a great experience! Do try when you're by this location!

Love the all you can eat sushi here. The sushi and Chinese food are fairly good quality, but some of the other food are not. So you need to pick and choose what you eat. Definitely do not recommend the oyster and snow crab legs. The reason I give them a 5 star is because of their price. Given the price, quality of the food and the amount of food you can get. It is a really good deal. Overall is a five star, but for the taste and quality of some of the food I would give it a 3 to 4 star. If I were the owner, I would remove the snow crab and oyster altogether if I'm not going to serve the customer with good quality or if I'm concerned about the cost. Just serve good quality of other food. People will come for those. Putting something on the menu to attract certain customers and not serve them good quality food is begging for bad reviews.

Good buffet! The food was all good. They were quite busy, so a few things ran out, but they did a good job restocking by the next time we went up. Nice selection of sushi. I am not really a connoisseur, but I had at least a dozen different types, and they were all delicious. Highly recommended! Lunch is a fair bit cheaper, so you may want to try that first if you are not sure. You can expect to see me there again!
